In 2018 Eden Village West welcomed our first group of campers to our organic farm-to-table camp nestled amongst the hills of Sonoma County and along the Russian River. That summer a special pluralistic Jewish community was born. The response from our community was overwhelming – we retained nearly 80% of our pioneer campers and grew from 87 campers in our inaugural summer to 182 campers in 2019.
Summer camp is a transformative place for children. Our campers have the time of their lives while discovering new passions and skills. Eden Village West’s culture of kindness, nature based curriculum, and location along the banks of the Russian River make us a truly unique camp. Our activities are infused with Jewish stories and inspiration that make our rich tradition come to life. At camp, in a supportive social setting, our campers grow without facing the pressures of digital media that is ubiquitous elsewhere. “Camp is a place where I can be myself,” is a refrain we hear from our campers, over and over again.
We need your donation to make camp a successful reality in 2021. We are incredibly grateful for your support. You are giving a transformative gift when you enable more children to experience camp at Eden Village West. All donations are tax-deductible.
With gratitude,
Casey Yurow Camp Director
