Our Keter Experience is a teen-centered, freedom-oriented, community-based program that takes the magic of being an Eden Village camper to the next level. Our 10th and 11th graders will live our Eden Village values with a special Journey embedded within their 3 week camp session. Keter campers will experience a wild-adventurous-joyful-
Forest Journey
Strap on your hiking shoes and get ready to explore! Keter Campers will learn all about what it means to be self sufficient in nature while equipped with a backpack, expert-level backpacking knowledge, and an insatiable curiosity.
Culinary Journey
Take your culinary skills to the next level! Combine forces with our organic farm to discover what it truly means to be farm to table! Visit farms, restaurants, cook incredible food and more in this Journey to discover where your food comes from and what it feels like to really be comfortable in the kitchen.

Rising seniors / 17 year-olds now have the chance to become Eden Village staff! Join our amazing summer team as a junior staff member! Work directly with our campers while gaining key leadership skills throughout the course of the summer, preparing you to be a top-notch staff member and group facilitator both at Eden Village West and beyond! Be a part of a cohort of others who are learning alongside you and learn from some of the best experiential educators in the Jewish community.
Applications for Junior Staff positions will go live in mid-November.
Affording Camp: Discounts, Grants, & Scholarships
Our goal is that no camper is turned away for financial reasons. We accomplish this through discounts, connecting you to grants and scholarships in your community, and by providing financial assistance to ensure that camp is affordable for every family. Refer A Friend | $250 | When a new camper registers for camp and lists you as a reference on their camper application, you’ll receive a $250 discount. There is no limit to the amount of refer-a-friend discounts you can receive. |
Grants and Scholarships
There are many grants and scholarships available to families sending their children to Jewish overnight camps. Please explore the following options BEFORE applying for financial aid from Eden Village West.
- One Happy Camper: First time at a Jewish overnight camp? You’re eligible for up to a $1000 One Happy Camper grant, a program of the Foundation for Jewish Camp. Visit their website to learn more.
- Scholarships from your local congregation. Many Jewish congregations have funds set aside to help send children to summer camp! If you belong to a Jewish temple, synagogue, or congregation, contact your Rabbi or administrator to inquire about supporting your child’s camp experience at Eden Village West.
- Scholarships from your local Jewish Federation. Click here for a database of local Jewish Federations and Foundations that provide camp scholarships. Bay Area Families: We have received a generous grant from the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund to provide camperships to Bay Area families; apply directly to camp for these funds.
Financial Aid through Eden Village West
Eden Village West provides financial assistance to many of our families. Our risk-free process ensures that families will be refunded 100% of all fees paid (deposit included) if they do not receive enough assistance to make camp financially possible. Please follow these steps to apply for financial assistance
- Complete your Camper Application and pay your camp deposit.
- Apply for a first-time camper incentive. If your child is attending Jewish overnight camp for the first time, you’re likely eligible for a first time camper grant through One Happy Camper.
- Apply for local sources of financial aid. Most local Jewish Federations, foundations, and congregations have funding set aside to help send children to summer camp! Contact your local synagogue and see the section above for more information.
- Reach out to family and friends. Transformative camp experiences benefit the whole community! Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and close family friends are excited to help sponsor a child’s time at camp.
- Submit an Eden Village West Financial Aid Application. Once you register for camp, fill out a Financial Aid Application which can be found on our website or emailed upon request. Our confidential Scholarship Committee will review your application. If you do not receive enough financial assistance to enable your family to attend camp you will receive a 100% refund of all fees paid, including your deposit.

Payment & Refunds
Deposit
A deposit of $500 per camper is required upon registration via credit or debit card. Your registration will not be confirmed until we receive your deposit. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a space for your child in the interim.
Payment Schedule
Tuition must be paid in full by April 1.

Program Protector Insurance
Program Protector Insurance protects your investment if you need to unexpectedly cancel your child’s enrollment, or if your child needs to come home from camp early. This is a competitively priced 3rd party
cancellation/interruption protection service that is available when you register for camp. Eden Village West strongly encourages all families to consider Program Protector insurance during registration.
