Dorm Life FAQ
What IS dorm life like?
- Great question! Our campus is based on a boarding school campus, so our rooms are very similar to a typical college dorm room!
How many kids are there per room?
- Our rooms house between 2 – 4 campers
Where does the counselor sleep?
- Counselors never share rooms with campers, instead their room is nearby in case a camper needs something in the middle of the night!
What does camper privacy look like?
- We afford our campers all the privacy they want and need while still being able to be supervised safely and effectively. Instead of closing their doors, campers have a curtain that keeps their room private, while allowing councilors to keep an ear on what is happening inside the room.
Are campers supervised during shower time?
- Councilors are within ear shot of showering campers, while staying out of eyesight for maximum privacy. The showers themselves are located within private stalls.
What is bedtime like?
- Our campers go to bed at staggered times depending on their age. Bedtime rituals vary from bunk to bunk, but always consist of some bedtime ritual like saying the Shema and/or reflecting on the day!
